New 7424 oozing a little lubrication

I recently (about 45 days ago) bought a PC 7424 and have not had a chance to use it yet. I put it in a nice box that my wife brought home which was originally for a Game Cube (all aluminum, foam inside--it fit perfectly). I laid it down in the box pad up. My Edge 2000 pads arrived the other day and I went to try to fit them on the PC and I noticed some oil or grease (brown) that had oozed out of some hole on the 7424 from the top. My garage does get hot in the day and I am just wondering if this is normal, for it to ooze lubrication or grease or oil or whatever is in it?

My 7336 oozed a little lubricant the last time I used it. I'm not concerned about it now but sure would like to know what may be the problem. I store mine in the garage and it gets very hot in there during the summer.
 
intresting i wonder if this happens to all DA or just that specific model....
plus not try to hi jack this thread but does anybody rotary seeps out some oil..
