New 4runner and Zaino

How long should I wait before applying Zaino to my new 4runner? I just picked it up on Friday and it just came into port from Japan one week earlier. Do I have to let the paint cure? I couldn't stand the way the dealer washed my new ride so I washed with Z7 and it looks great.
 
The paint comes cured and ready;) my car(SUZUKI XL-7 LIMITED) also came from Japan, all I did was to clay it first(Mothers Clay).

Check the build date .. I think your going to find it more than 4 weeks .. more than enought time waited .. I clayed/polished/sealed my New B5.5 the day after delivery.. them boats is sloooowwww...
 
You don't have to wait. Cure is for body shop paint. They don't have the ovens car manufacturers have.

You can use Zaino in a brand new car the same day you got it.!!!!

Congrats on the new 4Runner! Yes, you can do whatever you want to the paint as it should be cured by now. It took about 2 months for mine to arrive at the dealer from production date.
 
Go ahead and wash again and clay the finish! Got to remove any surface contaminations right away!



If you notice swirls, get them out as Zaino will enhance the swirls!
