NEthing to INCREASE PearL LOOK???

my car is a pearl finish called Carbon Black, its black in the dark and where the sun hits it, its BLUE, anyone know how i can increase the blue in the finish??? much help is greatly appreciated,

Peter Y has an Acura with a similar paint, and he uses blackfire. At the AutopiaDay in NYC he tried P21S which seemed to really bring out the sparkling blue crystal look beneath.

Have you tried that?



Of course the key is to make the paint as perfect as possible first, meaning wash, clay, wash, polish, etc.
 
I have a carbon black M5. I have tried Zaino and like it alot. But I recmtly did GEPC with Pinnacle souveran and I was stunned. The shine is really deep and wet. I don't think I would say the blue is more noticable, but the color looks deeper, which shows off the metalic characteristics.



How do you like your M?
 
I put S100 (P21s) on a Midnight Blue Pearl and it really did bring out the blue pearl. I don't know if its the best for this effect but it did great....but then again, S100 is pretty amazin' stuff.

i've had it for over a year now. jus hit 25k miles, gonna be sellin soon to get into a E46 M3, mine is a custom color, originally came in cosmos black

I also agree with Bruce. Souveran gives such a wonerful, deep, wet, liquidy look on dark colors, that, for dark colors, it is now my favorite and it is also a great "topper" for a sealant base.

Definitely Give the S100 a try!



I have a Pearl Black MB and I just used S100 a couple of days ago. It took exactly two days after application for the wax to bring out the pearl tint (mines gold), the paint just popped.......amazing! :shocked



I also used the S21 Precleaner on mine, good combination and cheap!

Yes, I have tried P21S, which is the same thing. It is as good as souveran, or damn close.
