Need wheel cleaning help!

Had a caliper seize on me and all this metal (rust) sprayed all over my wheel before I could replace the pad.

Any idea how to loosen it up? PB Blaster?? Haha

That looks severe. What have you tried so far?

It almost looks like it burned right thru the surface finish :(

i would try a water spot remover. thats what i use on chrome rims that have brake dust thats caked on and wont come off with a wheel cleaner. its acidic but safe on paint just make sure not to leave it on there too long

From what I see, its still sitting on top of the clear. I have DG's water spot remover that I can try. I think if I can soften up the deposit, I can just clay it off or something.

OK so I tried some DG505 water spot remover, more P21S and a Megs blue clay bar.... a little better but nothing drastic.

I was reading up on these 2 products called Iron Out and Rust Stain Remover... they contain axalic acid and hydrofluoric acid, respectively. Are these wheel safe? I want to say HF acid is but I want to confirm.
