Need to get mold out of leather and vinyl interior

A friend of mine has a late 1980s Mercedes that is in near new condition, but it was parked with the windows open for a few months (in a garage, but it is very humid here), and the steering wheel (leather), seats (leather) and door panels (vinyl) have mold spots everywhere. What are some safe ways to try to clean this up?

While there are special products for removing mold from leather (for those, check out Leather Doctor), I'd first try some (!non-bleach!) mold remediation product like MoldSTAT.
