Hello,

New to the site I'm so happy theres other detailing addicts like me here! :yay I have full paint correction on my car, I never use wax on it just 3m hand glaze by hand every 2 weeks and paint gloss spray on the daily. My question is I want a final final product that noticeably better than hand glaze since Im so old school. In the past I always used finesse it for light colors and liquid ebony for dark cars...I've seen m205..dodo juice..etc..on the site here. Just wanted your opinions. Thanks in advance:)

I would recommend something like CG EZ Creme Glaze topped with a high quality sealant like BFWD. CG Blacklight if you only want one LSP step. Think you won't go back.

Welcome to AutopiaForums!

Glazes are nice because they can temporarily boost the appearance of paint, but many offer little-to-no protection and don't last very long with out a wax or sealant on top.

It's hard to say what your final steps should be with out knowing the process your are using.

In general you finish with a final polish, add a glaze (optional but not necessary if the final polish was done properly), then seal with a wax or synthetic paint sealant, or a combination of both.

Are you looking for the final polishing step or for a wax or sealant to use?

I dont understand, from you post it sounds like you are applying a polish or glaze with not wax or sealant over top? It thats the case your glaze will be gone by the next rain or wash.

Sorry for not clarifying. I used finesse it 2 for my final with rotary and finished off with 3m hand glaze repeating this every 4 weeks by hand and use gloss enhancer spray on the daily. I've been doing this for two years with no degrades in the paint. ppg dealer told me 5yrs ago not to put wax on my car since paint needs to breathe.I told him is that for outgasing for new paint? He said, no old or new it doesn't matter paint has pores and needs to breathe. I just wanted to make my already great shine better, next level, if a different glaze or wax is to used so be it Im game. Im just ready to try new things. Pic attached sorry quality not that great from phone. Thanks guys for all your suggestions.

This is the first I've heard that paint needs to breathe....If this is all by hand, I'd think about trying the ultima paint prep and then their Paint guard. I'm sold after changing over and the depth is amazing. No need to buff off...
