Need Suggestion on Polish

I have been using Megs #80 to remove swirls and although it works, it leaves some micromarring which I have to remove with Megs #66 (cleaner wax). This is another step I have to do. I have a 2006 Lexus GS300 with black onyx paint.

Can anyone recommend a polish to remove light swirls and fine scratches? It's a one year old car and swirls are not that bad. I just need a polish without heavy cutting power but at the same time something that does not leave marring so that I can just go straight to my LSP (DG 105 topped with Natty's Blue).

Thanks.

If you're looking for a light polish. I would recommend the polishes by Menzerna. I have only used Final Polish II and po106ff.

If you have the money, I would recommend PO106ff. If not, then I would recommend FPII.

The #80 really shouldn't be leaving any marring; are you breaking it down all the way? What pads are you using and are they clean? Are your buffing towels of sufficient quality and clean?

I agree with this ... #80 has always finished LSP ready for me.

To answer the question directly though, for cost effective finishing polishes I like OP, HTLC and FPII.
