Need stronger polish

Have both s100 Shine Enhancing Cleanser and Meguiar's Medallion Paint Cleaner...

Both are good at what they do but I need something that has more bite by hand to get rid of swirls more vicious than they are capable of...

I also have 3M Finesse-it II Machine Polish that I haven't had too much look with by hand and 3M Rubbing Compound that is stronger than the action I'd like to take.

Meguiar's Scratch-X is the usual recommendation for hand removal of swirls. You have to work it with some effort and may have to make several applications.

If that doesn't do it, you'll have to step up to machine polishing.

Another choice would be the discontinued but still available 3M PI-III MG (05937). Don't let the "machine glaze" name put you off, it's a nonfilling polish that works great by hand (used it this way yesterday).

Many autobody/paint supply places still have it in stock, my local place has it on the shelf. Really great stuff.

I'd do any real correction with something like the FI-II, then follow up with the 05937. Or, if the marring is light, the 05937 alone will do it, though possibly requiring multiple passes.

IMO the FI-II is OK but nothing wonderful. It was pretty popular around here maybe 4-5 years ago. I'd follow with a mider product.

I'm not fond of the 3M SMR. Lots of fillers and some people have trouble with it micromarring (I suspect they don't break it down properly, it neve did that for me).

I'd track down the two PI-III products. Yeah, I know it's a hassle but I predict you'll be very glad you did.
