Need some professional advice...

I've been waxing our cars for years now and have had great results using OTC products. Here's the thing.... People are noticing and want my service and advice. I was using Rain-X :( and switched to Black Magic, which was much better. Now I've tried Nano-wax from Eagle one. The spray detailer is great but the actual wax doesn't seem to leave anywhere near the gloss and shine. I am days away from ordering at the Poorboy's website. Could you put me on the fast track to some start up products ? My time is very valuable and I have higher standards. I want to deliver on the shine end.

do you own a buffer or are you doing it by hand? Dark cars? Light Cars? What works best for me is Pro Polish Black Hole Glaze do you plan on sealing the car? if so EX or EX-P is the way to go.. Then for shine.. its tough but i would say Nattys red or Nattys white.. the good thing about Nattys wax is its stackable.. so if you get red and white you can put the white down wait a while then top it with red to add a NICE look to the paint... just my .02
 
Most things that can be applied by hand can be done quicker with a buffer but you will still need to do a certain amount of hand application for best results.
 
I would say definitely a Natty's wax (take your pick or do a search based on what results you want), SSR1, and 2.5, and a sealant. EX or EX-P, or even Polish w/ Sealant for those cars that you want to one step.
 
I have been doing 95% by hand. I own 6" and 10" buffer/polishers (Walmart), but they seem to be more of a hastle for now. They don't contour to alot of the vehicles. I suppose they'll do on the hoods, tops and trunks.
Lot's of choices for waxes, polishes and sealants. Will talk to Steve pretty soon I hope.

That's most of teh problem. They have NO corrcting ability. Look into the Flex or PC.

I have the old PC and would suggest a Flex XC3401. i used one recently and it blows the doors off the Old PC in terms of time savings. Not sure where the new PC stacks up, but the flex is way more comfortable to use as it vibrates much less.
 
I would start with a PC or flex package, By poorboys or meguiars. I believe detail city has them. You will save money by getting the package deal and get better results then by hand.

IMO it's a good way to start.

make a list of things you need such as:
car wash
mitt
clay
polishes
paint cleaner
sealant
wax
window cleaner
wheel cleaner
dressings
etc. don't forget brushes and towels :)
