Need some Help

I have issues
Here is my problem. My paint seems cloudy when in direct light at night but I don't really see it during the day. I just noticed this recently.

The last time I detailed my car which is a Black pearl color. I clayed with Clay Magic then PB 2.5 then Woolfgang sealant. I did all this with a PC about a month ago. I am not sure what I did wrong.

Well I am planning on doing a winter protectio with Klasse AIO and Klasse Glaze. I wanted to get rid of the "cloudiness" first.
Should I use the Poorboys 1st or the AIO. And can I use the AIO with the Portercable because I have heard you shouldn't use the PC for the Glaze.
Thanks.

You might want to have your dealer look at the paint.
One of the first stages of clear-coat failure is a cloudy look. Looks kind of like plastic wrap that isn't all the way in contact with whatever you wrapped up. The clear can actually start to visibly delaminate from the base coat before it lets go for good.
Check around with some other Subaru owners and see if any of them are aware paint problems with the Subies.
GM, Ford and Chrysler all had "hidden warranties" where they would only address the problem if the owner made an issue of it.

What pad and speed did you use SSR 2.5 with? How long did you work it in for?

From your description it sounds like you have some type of micromarring from the polish. SSR2.5 needs to be worked in for a while, using a polishing pad. If it is micrmarring, you should have followed up with a less abrasive polish- which is what I suggest you to do. Black is hard to work with as you know and going from a cutting product like SSr2.5 to LSP isn't going to work IMO. SSR1 after the 2.5 should work well.

I would use a less abrasive product and work it in pretty well. That should help out a good bit. Do you have any pictures that you could post up?
