Hi all of you

Got one question for you, tomorrow gonna spend most of the day on the car. Im going to take pictures of the whole process so I can post them on Monday. I only have access to internet during the week so I need your recommendations today.

Tomorrow the process and products are going to be.

Wash (Dawn)

Clay (Meguiars clay) only one availabe right now

Paint Cleaner (Medallion)

Paint Protection (Medallion)

Wax (Dont know yet) I wanted to buy some carnauba wax, but I couldnt fin it. I jus fin mothers carnauba clear wax (it has light polishing effects, I know that the best would be pure carnauba wax or some p21s or something like that, bu I couldnt fin it)

What do you recommend use the wax or better not and wait to find some good carnauba

All your help would be so much appreciate

:xyxthumbs or :nono

For the wax you may want to try Meguiar's #26. It can be bought at most auto stores. I currently have UPP topped with #26 and am very pleased with the results.

Since you are planning to use a paint cleaner I see no need to use Dawn to wash it. Use a regular car wash designed for car finishes. Dawn is harsh on the paint.

The whole wash with "Dawn" thing is a step used for the initial Zaino process. Because Zaino does not have a polishing or cleansing step, Dawn is used to get the paint clear of wax, and oils that may interfere with it bonding to the paint surface.

In your case the paint cleaning step will take care of that and probably the Medallion sealant is meant to be applied right over this paint cleaner.

Your car looks really good in that photo already. I bet all it really needs is a wash and another coat of wax. Maybe it does not look as good up close? :nixweiss

You have 3 easy options for wax:

Go back and see if you can find the Mother's California gold pure carnauba wax - it has no cleaners.

Get the #26 as someone else suggested.

Go to a Harley shop and get some S100.

The third option would give you the best shine, according to most folks here.
