Okay, so I got off work this morning. Washed my Titan. Went home to dry and clean the wheels. I then went to apply poorboys QD+. I used two different types of micro fibers. Here is the problem. I started by applying it to the towel and wiping on, it worked for a second then it like started missing spots. Confused. Then I tried to apply directly to the paint and spread around, that didnt work well either. I shook the crap out of it and used a spray bottle.
Are there any helpful tips on how to make this work easier. It hazes fast and makes a good surface, I just got mainly the hood done and thats it.
Thanks for your time. :ticked

I've always applied QD+ with a sprayer, then spread with a M/F, allow to set up & haze, then buff off with another M/F. I've not had any problems that way. What were your weather conditions? What about the temp of the truck? If you had just driven it, the hood could have been warmer, and started drying the QD+ too quickly :dunno

It was around 57-60 degrees. the hood was cool to the touch. It did haze very quickly.. I thought about going to get a applicator pad to apply it like a wax.
Maybe I am just a tool and not used to this kind of product. I used to use over the counter quick detailers and they were obviously a lot different.

QD+ is more like a spray wax than a regular quick detailing spray. I use a sprayer to dispense a light coat of product onto my MF towel. I spread the product onto the surface with the towel and wait for it to haze over (about a minute). I will usually apply to 2 or 3 panels and then go back to wipe off the first of the panels. Flip to a dry section of towel, or use a second towel, for the wipe off process.

I found that some MF towels load up too quickly to work well with QD+. My favorite towel to use with QD+ is the Poorboy's Velvet Smooth towel. It is a low pile towel with an extra grabby weave. This towel makes quick work of QD+ as well as the final buffing of LSPs.

hmmmmmm....I just spray it on a mf wipe it on turn the cloth over and wipe it off...what kind of mf are you usng? this sounds like more of the root of the problem:dunno

I let QD+ dry on my entire car and then buff off like a wax. Never had problems that way. I have not had to use it lately though. I guess 3 coats of Natty's (4 on the hood) will do that. :)

I couldn't agree more with these two statements.
