Need Soap for Foam Gun - Off the shelf suggestions??

I have the equivalent of a Gilmour hose end foam gun and am looking for an off the shelf car wash concentrate to use with it. Any suggestions on products that would likely be available locally and produce a good foamy lather??

Try Duragloss #901 car wash concentrate and you will never buy another type of soap for your gun...for the price nothing will touch it. Mmmmm, cherries!

The best combo I've seen is Z7 (1oz) and 3oz of CG CWG and the rest water. SuperBee has used this with his Power washer and his foam gun and DANG it is 1.5" of foam that lasted 5min.

Cheers,

For OTC I think the Meg's Gold Class will give you the most foam for the buck. Target used to have it very attractively priced.

I've stopped by the Target in Woodbridge twice within the last month, for another two gallons of Meguiar's Gold Class. Both times, only the half-gallon size was available, priced at $8.99. I've paid $10.99 for the gallon, but no word from any of the Target employees I questioned on when the larger size will be available again.

surprisingly, the EO1 car wash works pretty well with the foam gun and is inexpensive...

They were clearing out the gallons last fall at $7.99 ea., so maybe they aren't carrying them anymore. It was great when they were $9.99, but lately I can't really deal with the streaking from GC, no matter how much I dilute it down. As others have said, the DG wash is great stuff (price isn't so bad since you can use 1/2 oz./gal), but I don't know of anywhere here in Jersey to get it OTC.

I found a jug today and am thoroughly impressed!! This soap left my truck looking like it was just waxed. You're right, I don't think I'll go back to other soaps.

The optimum car wash soap that came with my foam gun works a lot better than the griot's soap I have, however the griot's appears to be much more lsp friendly. I always use as little foam/lowest dilution ratio I can get away with to preserve the lsp.
