Need recommendation for a heavy duty sprayer

I use a 2 gallon sprayer but I could get by with a 1 gallon. I use the sprayer along with the 2 bucket method and ONR. Use just slightly more than 1 gallon when spraying before an after washing with the mit. This includes spraying wheels before and after brushing.

So, I think you can get away with a 1 gallon for personal use.

Mine is pictured here:

I had the same dilemna and ended up with a 2 gal. Reason, if I got the 1gal and found that it wasn't enough, I'd still have to get the 2 gal and throw away $20 and the 1 gal sprayer.

Just get the 2 gal and keep your peace of mind. Always better to have more, than not enough.

honestly guys my 26gal spot sprayer from northern tool is the ****!! Its got all kinds of water flow and psi just for a tiny little pump it really gets the job done with it alone!

I honestly use it to wash the cars more than i use my pressure washer!

I can litterlly use it to wash soap off and everything!:2thumbs:

Thomas- Check out the 3 gallon sprayers that TOL sells. They are manufactured by a company called PDS (Professional Dispensing Systems).

Thanks guys for your recommendations.

My wife picked up a 2 gallon Ortho from Home Depot. Looks pretty sturdy. I actually need it for a wheel/tire cleaner.

Brad - did a lady call you with a Jag today from leesburg?

Those shurflo pumps last a long time too. I've used them for years (3gpm model) and usually get 3-4 years of commercial use out of one. I recently switched to a flojet 5gpm one which works great and hopefully will last as long.

Anyone know where you can buy the large o ring the that sits in the top of the 2 gallon sprayers. It's the one where the plunger screws into the tank. Mine has blown out on me once or twice when I didn't have it tightened enough. It's stretching now so failure is likely to happen soon. I'd like to get them locally to avoid shipping. On my last sprayer the same thing happened and when it blew out the last time I tried to tighten it down too hard and cracked the threading.
