Im getting ready to detail my C5 tomorrow, and I need to know if the Wal-Mart small MF cloths I have will be alright to take off the wax I use with? If not, will O'Riley's have something better? Thanks!

I use the walmart MF's and personally I think they do fine. More expensive ones are nicer but the walmart ones get the job done quite well. I'm sure that you will have some people on here that will say only use the best but these won't hurt your paint so go right ahead.

In my opinion, the walmart towels are average if not below average. I've had linting problems and marring occur from these towels. As a result I only buy on-line for microfiber now. I also don't like how they are packaged with that glue attached to the towel. I'm referring to the 5 pack. 3 blues, 2 whites.

I have used the micro fibers from Target and also Costco with no problems. I don't care for the ones at Walmart.

Or you can buy from Advance Auto Parts. They are good ones, better plush than walmart's MF, colorful but little expensive. 3 for $5.98. I agree with Jimmy wash them twice as wally MF have lint. Plus when u wash it, blue ones will release color and stain white ones.

Mine did lint a little bit when I first got them but the've been washed many many times now. I haven't had any problems with marring or staining.

Sorry if you are in a hurry... Wash em TWICE, or you'll get that crazy MF lint...

I've washed mine 10 times and they still lint. They're for emergency QD or interiors only now. Autozone's 2 pack of Turtle Wax MF towels are a great in a pinch. In fact, those are the only ones I use for the exterior...
