need professional touch up done in St.louis, MO

Hi,

I promised a friend that I will ask this on the forum. Here is the case.

His wife scratched the bumper of a BMW (new car). I did not have a chance to see it but I tried to get a detailed description.

The paint is scraped off ( I do not know exactly how deep but past sanding), it is more like hairlines (not massive) maybe couple inches long. There is no dent around it. The color is silver. I did touch ups before but I know it can be done better. He does not want to spend money repainting it and he does not want to just paint it with the touch up paint he can get from the dealer. Please post if you know anybody that could professionally touch it up in St. Louis area (Missouri)

Pics would help alot. But if it is in fact past sanding as you say, then the only option is touch up paint or a repaint.
 
people espect too much for touchup work.. there is no miracle technique out there.. you either fill it with paint (still will be visable and most likely not permanent), or you respray it. if you find a good "touchup" guy, he will have the ability to sand that area down and respray/blend that little part. it might not turn out perfect as the color might be just a little off or the refinish isnt as good as original, but unless you put your face right on it, its not noticeable.
