I'm all for Detailers helping other Detailers advance. I'll put this on my list of To-Do's for sure. I'm actually in the process of writing a few articles as I type. Very generous of you to even offer to pay someone for this too! Would we be able to cross link to our own web-site from the article?

Yes, you would receive a link to your website from the article. This really gets the attention of Google and helps you to reach page 1 for local detailing searches.
