Need Pics of cars with Duragloss #105

I have searched this forum and other forums for pics of Duragloss polish 105 it looks pretty good does not bowl me over paint seems to be lacking something. the best pics I have seen with it were of a white small two door car the paint looked really white gave it some body.

As for me I am just getting back into detailing previously used products were UPP, Klasse twins sealant glaze was easy to appy once you got the hang of it but the car did not clean up as well as I would like. so here came the Zaino pre-pro days applied Z-1 5 times to thick but other than that learning experience it was a pleasure.

the product considering are:

> Duragloss #105 polish use epoxy before use

> Meguiars #21 sealant wouln not put any of their oils down before applying it to a clean surface. also would use Hi-tech car wash the shine it gives on a clear coat would compliment the 21 nicely

> Mothers FX or maybe Reflections line never have used any of thei product before been scouting out thier forum If I had a PC then powerpolish and FX would be a nice shine with some body to it.

> Zaino well what can I say that has not already been said about it, easy to apply and

upkeep just lacks a litle body or depth.

TSX and Brandon thanx for the pics the silver on the TSX popped and the black was nice and bright also deep. I would put down the epoxy then #105 a couple of coats then maybe #111 final coat.

Thanx keep it comi'n mongo

I dont think that there is a reason for having pics of just duragloss....most of the products sold can achieve the same results or better...can you really tell the difference between menzerna on black and meguiars on white...no because there are too many variables....if you want a picture request like you are asking for, I would ask for the same process on two of the same cars with different products....as in one black G35 with menzerna and one black G35 with Duragloss....like sean said, the shine comes from the process....then the LSPs add the rest!

I guess the "reason" would be because that is what he wanted to see. That's probably why he asked the question in the first place.

Thanks, that's pretty obvious.

What we are trying to express is that there are so many variables to how a finish shines, like: wetsanding, compounding, polishing, glazes, repaints, lighting, camera type, image resizing software, user error, etc.

Asking for pictures of DG #105 isn't like saying "Post pics of a G35 with an OEM spoiler". *That* tangible object is blatant, an LSP is not.

I used both FX spray wax and Aqua Wax and its not contest. The Aqua Wax all the way.

I top AW with FK 425 which results (for me at least) much longer durability of the full Aqua Wax

effect and it keeps the surface cleaner longer.

As far as Klasse SG, no more for me. Poorboys EXP and Werkstatt AJT are better in ease of use and produce an equally and some might argue better, shine.

As far as Zaino, I like to call a 1-800 with product questions. FK will talk your ear off at their cost, not yours. This long distance thing is a pet peeve of mine but doesn't detract from the quality of their product obviously.

well why do we put up pictures than? :showpics

:funnypost

I've seen requests for pictures of just about every car care product available, without the poster having to have a "reason" for the request. Why would this request need a reason other then that's what he wants to see?

Keep the info goin thats what makes this place so good.

> concerning prep I know what I am going to do but thanx for the prompt nonetheless.

LSP is going to be Zaino, Duagloss or Meguiars #21

I have trolled this forum for 5 plus years also going to detailcity , detailersclub.com among a few others.

The pics I saw of AL-53 truck was good until I did more digging and found that the Duragloss was only on the hood and collinite was on the rest. The hood looked better also because the collinite was on its last leg.

For the most part, you can't go wrong with most of the LSP's. Sure, under the right circumstances one might look better than the other, but for the most part, you're splitting hairs. Some do look better on certain colors, but they'll all look good if used correctly.

Just pick one, buy it, and use it. When it runs out, or you have the money, buy another one, try it, and compare. Find what works best for you- ask 10 people what wax, you'll get 20 answers.

evidently you did not use the search function....I have done the hood in the 111 to see what it would look like..then the whole truck in the 111 ...and then the hood again to see how 105 looked with 111 on the whole truck ...then the whole truck in the 105....

here is a link to the truck done with all Duragloss products....with 105 as the topper..much better look then the 111..deeper and wetter looking...

90% of the looks comes from the prep....what ever you use for a sealant will lock it in...

yes I did use the search function researched this and Meguiras 21 is looking very good also maybe ahead.

How do you apply 105 via PC? I suppose it will be ok putting a very small quantity of 105 in a finishing PAD and with a speed 2-3, just cover the surface, not working the product.

I'm right?

I hope my DG products will arrive today !!!!

If your going to use Duragloss you really need the AW as the last step for that extra pop. Duragloss is more durable than any Megs product IMO. Zaino has really improved the user friendliness of their line and IMO it looks better than Duragloss.

I have in my car 3xZ2-Pro + 2xZ5 Pro. The first and the last coat of Z5. Using Z8 as a "topper". The car looks nice, but I hope with Duragloss will look better. I think this is a personal opinion...

To be honest, I notice very little difference in appearance in using DG 105 as compared to Z5P. The DG105 looks every bit as good as Z5, IMO.
