Need pad suggestions for Menz 3800

Hey guys- over the winter I’m going to be polishing my 8K mile LeMans Blue 2007 Z06.

The car has a deep gloss as it sits but has the usual “I don’t know how to wash and dry my car” scratches which I’ll remove with my Menzerna 2500 or 3000 and an orange pad.

My question is how should I finish it as this will be an occasional drive car at best- is a white pad good for Menz 3800?

Do you already have the Menzerna 3800? If not, I might recommend the Rupes or Carpro systems. Rupes Pure with a white pad or CarPro Essence with their white pad. I use both of those polishes plus the 3800 with Uro-Tec white pads but can’t really tell a difference between any of them as they are all great. More so recommending them as systems since they are guaranteed to work vs mixing and matching, which should also work.

I have all the menzernas I would need. From 2500-3800. I don’t want to purchase a whole new line of polishing compounds tbh

Makes sense. I’ve used the white pads from B&S Uro-Tec, CarPro, and Rupes with Uno Pure, 3800, and Essence and couldn’t tell a difference on lacquer. Maybe different clears might show a difference but I think you’d be fine using any of those as well as the LC pads. You’re an expert so should be able get great results with any decent combination.

Hahaha far from it. But thanks. I’ll try the white LC pad with the 3800
