I can speak for the winter/salt durability of Ultima. Nice line. Easy to use, looks amazing, protects well, and has proven very durable.

+1 on the Ultima, salt city this year in central Indiana, holding up well

How is the spray Optimum Car Wax work, as good as liquid or other paste waxes out there?

In my humble opinion, I think it is. It looks awesome and stays slick for quite awhile. I will admit that I have never let OCW "run it's course" for durability. I am too addicted to having a fresh coat of wax on my car all the time!!

The only paste wax I have tried that CLEARLY outlasts OCW in durability is the Collinite line. There may be others, I just haven't used them

But for the time and price it saves, i think i might grab some

What about the Optimum Polish, hows its swirl fighting, i might be making a conversion

Would mixing Optimums protection products and Menzerna Polishes work good together?

I've heard of people doing that, but I haven't done it myself yet. They say it gives your a longer working time...

Thanks!! I do have to worry about durability from November through March when I don't have many opportunities to re-wax. However, every now and then throught he winter we have a mild day so it seems when the opportunity is there I could do a quick ONR and add a coat of OCW.

If you're worried about winter, skip Optimum and put 2 coats of Collinite 476S or 845 IW on the car. Now -that's- protection.

How would it be time consuming? It would be the same as doing Optimum compund then Optimum polish, unless they have fast breakdown times
