Need Opinion On Product Lineup I Am About To Purchase

I like to apply fmj with a 4" grey foam pad via pc. Not everyone agrees but it is faster for me. FMJ is so easy to remove. I don't like applying with a larger pad because you waste so much product and FMJ is not cheap.

I agree, FMJ is the easiest product to remove. It leaves the car so slick afterward.

I think that I am going to top the FMJ with P21S. I hear that it gives that extra pop and you get the best of both worlds (sealent and carnauba).

I wouldn't bother with the Menzerna auto shampoo. I have it and it is nothing special. If it is coming in the kit you plan to get then fine, otherwise get Megs Nxt tech wash or Gold class wash from your local wal-mart, target, etc. Duragloss is supposed to be good as well.

I don't think you will need to top the FMJ. If you do top it then using a product like HGAS is going to be pointless. I find FMJ looks great on metallics as well as solids. If you use HGAS after every other car wash it stays very slick as well. I only use HGAS maybe once every 1-2 months and FMJ looks great for a while for me.

I am not worried about the price, but I would like to know why Anthony you say that there is not need for a sealant? I would like to do the FMJ after the FPII, I would like to know why u think this is not necessary. Also, would it be better to use KAIO instead of the FMJ and then go with the Opti-Seal?

A sealant is fine but my point is is that you don't need a slew of them nor does it gain you anything, IMHO, to layer various sealants.

Everything, "LOOKS" wise, is coming from prep work, not from your wax or sealant. Focus on that first and foremost.

Anthony
