Need microfiber tips

It's funny, there are people that had said my advice about the grabbiness of the MF is a bad suggestion. But you know what, I have not seen any thread where someone said they used a grabby MF and they were ticked off with the results. People said they switched from one to another, but no one has said anything about the MF scratching their paint because of the grabbiness issue I had stated. (If am wrong and over-read something then quote it after this from a previous post).

Yes a MF can score your paint if you scrub at some panel with some buffing cream or something (that happens with any MF or any other plain or texture rag, depending on the color of the vehicle), but honestly, I think my opinion is still correct. I have yet had a problem with my MF choice selection.

Yes, a MF can collect leaves and dirt and everything else. But why are you allowing those things to get into the MF? Shouldn't the surface be clean when you are removing the wax? Keep the MF off the ground and this will help prevent it.

If I am wrong about the "grabbiness" then someone state to me where they used a MF CORRECTLY and the whole grabbiness was the cause of their messed up paint.

Honestly. :grrr

Don't need to wash after each use. When you find yourself finding that the MF is not working like it used to then a wash is needed. How many times can you use it before washing? It depends on a lot, use, size of vehicle, what you used it for extc.

if you look close at the microfiber it is grabby because the weave of the fabric has little hooks on the end like velcro.

you can take the worst 100% acrylic mf material and weave it into a grabby towel.

One other question: Do you all wash the MF after each use.

I was my MF's after every use. Even on a "clean" surface it's possible to pick up small airborne particles that could have collected on your surface. Also it helps prevent cross contanimation between products.

never wash your MF with bleach..

if you feel as if your MF is worn out.. put your MF in hot boiling water on the stove for 10 mins.. then air dry it out.. trust me!

I just got 24 Vroom MF towels from Target for $8 :) They were supposed to be $20 but there was a sale for 2 for $8 for some towels, and I thought it was for the ones I bought. I went to customer service and they gave em to me for $8. I just washed them all to get rid of the lint. They're air drying now.

john1c, what exactly does boiling them do?
