Need information on GMC polisher

I was given a GMC(Global Machinery Company) 7 inch Variable Speed Polisher today. Has anyone ever used one? If so how did it compare to other polishers? I have been using a PC for the last year and half and plan to continue using it, but would like to give this machine a try. My plan is to try it out on some old junk vehicles first then if i'm comfortable with it, go from there. I have never used a GMC product, so just need some information. This was a gift for a detail I done. thanks

If you do detailing on the side, then jumping to a rotary (which I assume it is, rather than dual action like a PC) is a good idea. Junkers are a great place to start.
