Need industry info

Hi everyone,



I'm in the process of doing a business plan for my class at school and am having a hard time find numbers I can use for the industry. I mentioned to my professor that the majority of detailers and places that offer detailing products are almost all privately owned and therefore aren't required to post numbers, yet I keep getting dinged on points for not providing numbers to back up statements.



Is there anywhere I can go to find info like industry growth, current market trends, etc? I'm looking mainly for Auto detailing products, since my business plan is that.

why did you choose such a hard topic to find info on?



I doubt it had to be the topic you want to get into for a career (if you want to)



DavidB might be the best resource as he has thrown out other numbers in different threads, but I dont know for sure...
