Need help with white paint

So it seems i have been reading millions of post here, and I must say this is the GREATEST fourm that I ever found. Just overfilling with info, little shakey at first but after useing the "Decoder Ring" everything isn't so confusing, now one to the question.



What combo would you suggest on a White car useing Z2Pro as my LSP. I have been looking in to SSR1 or IP/FP to help with the small swirl marks and to hopefully help the paint "POP" more. I was also looking in AIO to make sure I have a super clean surface to work with. Would a topper like Natty's, PS12, #16 or PS help with this or just be a waste.
 
I'd say before deciding on which topper you want to apply maybe you should try looking at the photo galleries of pics of white cars with products that were topped with those that you mentioned to give you an idea of what was used.If it were me though id get all of them and try each one out
 
I do not have a white car but I have used the products that you have mentioned. Both poorboy's and menzerna produce great results. Klasse AIO is another good product. All these items will be in my arsenal



If Z-2 Pro is your LSP, i like to use use the Menzerna line. IP & FPll followed by Z-2 pro. It is a hard combination to beat. i have to say that you could use Poorboy's and produce similar results.



What ever regimen that you choose, layering up to three layers of Z-2 Pro will produce terrific results. I am at this moment giving Z-2 Pro a durability test. The reports of Zaino longevity are storied. I am interested to see, from personal experience, if the stories are true.
 
I have an Olympic white Escalade.

My regimen last fall was:

DACP

Menzerna IP

AIO

Zaino Z2-PRO prototype

Loved the results and durability



This Spring:

on white vehicle

DACP

1Z MP (personal line) (I like this product and its appearance characteristic better than my old favorite AIO)

beta-testing paint cleanser (not necessary for good Z bonding from testing I have done on wife's black daily driver but adds to final sleekness prior to Z polish application)

Z5 x3 with Z8 as pad moistener and Z6 between coats

Z2-PRO x 2

Maintain with Z8 after every wash and Z6 after every rinse or rain.





Before you ask, I have no idea if or when this cleanser will be released. I hope soon.
 
With proper polishing, even white can reflect with the best of them. See my hood shot to the left. <----------



My preferred combo is AIO + UPP + Paste Glaz. Unfortunately for you, Paste Glaz was discontinued and is all sold out. I have a few jars left, but that still isn't enough for me. :(



I would do AIO + UPP + P21S or Nattys. That should look great.

If you have some swirls to polish out, I'd recommend Poorboy's SSR line. SSR2 would probably be adequate for your light swirls. You may want to pick up some SSR2.5 too though just in case.

I just did a 04 white Cavallier and I used DACP on a white pad looking into 500 x 2 Halogen at an angle followed by #80 and the same lights.



I topped it with FMJ and even I was suprised.



I didn't get pix cuz it was inside my small garage and the next morning when we brought it out it was snowing.

Welcome. This is a great place and you'll be overwhelmed at first with the amount of knowledge to found in here. Do lots of searches and never be afraid to ask any questions. One thing you'll find, there is no right product for any color. Many have had successes with many different combinations. This is my white Navigator with DACP, Megs #80, Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze and Poor Boys EX-P. The secret is all in the process and prep work. You can get fantastic results with lots of products. I have a white 98 GMC Jimmy and what I have done is have a fellow member highspeed buff it to remove deep water spotting, and the majority of swirls. Then I used 83 and 80 to finish it off. Some areas i went straight from 83 to 16. Others i only used 80. It all depends on how the current paint is. I can tell you for sure though when white is polished and topped with 16 it looks amazing. Very much like the navigator above.
