Need help with headlight pitting

Well, as seen in this post

my paint is pretty messed up from the car cruise. Well, my plastic headlights are also in pretty bad shape. They have a bunch of small pits from rocks hitting them and they look like crap. I tried some zaino plastic polish with my porter cable and it did not seem to help much. Is there any product that would be good for making the headlights look new again?
