Need help on sealant/LSP

Hello everyone! I am tackling a job tomorrow for a friend's husband that has been in the hosptial for several weeks and she wants her husband to come home to a nice detailed Chevy Avalanche (burgundy colored w-light to moderate correction needed).

I've seen the vehicle and have my plan down with all the wash/clay/polish etc...I'm struggling though on what I can do after polishing to get the best look possible with what I've got in my supplies now. I'd love to here some suggestions. Just wish I had something a little more boutique to compliment all the effort I'm gonna put in with polishing.

Correction to be done via PC and 2 step Menzerna (IP/FP). I also have some DG#101 but didn't plan on using it.

IPA wipe - yes/no?

Choices of sealant/LSP

Deep Crystal Carnauba

Meg's Gold Class Liquid Wax

NXT 2.0 Liquid

Mothers Cleaner Carnauba

Meg's Cleaner Wax

If you're going solely on looks and not worried about durability I would shoot for the NXT.

You don't need a cleaner wax after a two step polishing for sure and carnuaba's are nice but will be very short lived.

I don't think you need an IPA wipe before any of those LSP's. The first three would be my preference (rather than the cleaner waxes), and it's probably a tossup between the three...if I had to choose, I think I'd try the NXT (not that I've used the 2.0).

yeah, lately NXT 2.0 has been my go to (with all the FINE choices I have...LOL) it's so darn easy to work with, smells great, and I just want to use it up before I order something better.

yup, if you can put two coats of nxt 2.0 in time, that would be perfect

for me, nxt 2.0 is like the bread and butter of 'cheap' or affordable waxes

easy application, smells nice and after i buff it, i go over it quickly with meg's ultimate quick detailer which is like icing on a cake

good luck and have fun

yes, i too hit it with the UQD. Love that stuff too. Do I need to wait in between coats with this stuff? At this point in the day I will be 8 hours into this thing and probably ready to quit.

umm i am not sure if you need to wait since its a quick detailer, i usually buff the wax and do my clean up and then hit it with some UQD right before i show my client my work.

which is usually like 30 min or so from the time i buffed the wax off

well after all this, now the Avalanche I was supposed to do got bumped to Monday so tomorrow I am doing a black 07 CTS. go figure. I will still have the same approach though.
