i probably missed some stuff so LMK

i haven't done this amount of work for a paying customer, only on my own car and a family members car, so im really lost in pricing it

give yourself an hourly rate and estimate the time spent, when I detail solo, I charge 40/hr. I did a 97 golf about a month ago w/ light scratches and oxidation and charged 175, it took just under 5 hours, red ex/blk int and I am lower priced that many in my area do to my location, but I also have low overhead

I'd give a rough estimate of $160-225. If the interior isn't trashed, even though as mentioned above the carpets suck, you can knock it out pretty quickly. Otherwise, the customer would be looking at the high end of the estimate.

exterior:

wheels cleaned/ dressed (are the wheels blacked with caked on brake dust and/or they bare aluminum?)

wheels well cleaned and dressed

wash

clay (Is it rough? Why is it rough, fall out, overspray, or ???)

compound/polish (This is the money maker. Are you sure your going to compound? This step alone is a good $325 to $600 job. How bad is it? How good does the client want it? )

poliseal

headlights polished with OC and plastx (are you going to sand them? Take them out? Are they completely yellow or only fading?)

nattys or 845 i think i will do natty's

Plastic trim dressed with megs 40

windows with stoners and clay if needed (Are they spotted, rough?)

Are you legit? Do you have insurance, license and taxes to pay? All that matters on the price. We get $300 to potentially $600-$700 for a complete detail. Traditionally we average about $300-$350 for a mid 90s anything.

SoCal has a much higher cost of living than most other places...

it is very rare when people here in VA want will let me charge them $350. Usually for a full detail I can get $200-$280. When I want it to be $270-$350.

It all depends on where you live and your reputation.

Which part of the Pacific NW? In Seattle? Redmond? More rural? Cost of living plays a huge factor in pricing. As mentioned, determine an hourly rate than multiple by the number of hours you expect. The hourly rate will depend on the area you're in.
