Need help finding the right mini-polisher/buffer

Hey guys, I found this forum and figured you guys would be the best to ask.

I've got some HRE wheels that have a clear coat over brushed stainless (kinda look painted) on the main part of the wheel (the spokes) with a chrome lip. My problem is every time they get some dirt on them regular washing won't remove most of the spots. So I'm relegated to using some Meguiars swirl remover (friend of mine recommended this on some other chrome wheels with water spots and it worked great) and manually buffing out each wheel just to get the dirt off.

My question to you guys is I'm looking for a mini-polisher/buffer type tool where I can use a 3" pad and apply the swirl remover (or any other product you guys recommend) a lot easier and then buff it off. I know a lot of these tools use an air compressor which I don't have so I'd prefer electric but can always buy an air compressor if need be. It needs to be small enough to hopefully get in between the spokes as well.

Thanks for the input.

Is there a product better than the Meguiars swirl remover or is that adequate for what I'm doing? I tried posting a pic of the wheels but it's not taking the upload.

Merzerna IP would probably work well. Megs 80 or 83 could be found at a paint supply store. A plastic polish might work as well.

Is the powerball mini with a typical household drill "strong enough" to buff out mild clearcoat scratches/scuffs on wheels?
