Need help finding a tool

I had a Viking brand tire brush just like this:

but I discarded it, and now it seems that they've been discontinued. The only ones I can find now are the "deluxe" types with a long handle and I find they're difficult to use. If anyone can point me in the right direction to get one of these old tire brushes I would greatly appreciate it. :hifive:

there are quite a lot of different tire brushes out there and that also reminds me that i need to pick up one for myself as well.

I have the same kind you are talking about, mine is Turtle Wax with blue bristles. I'm over in Allentown, PA we have a store called A&A Auto Parts and they had a bunch in the detailing section, I think mine was like 2 dollars and some change.

nice with the turtle wax brush. So you want a very short handle brush . . . . . just was a suggestion. Didn't think the mothers had a long handle.

....I have tried that Mothers brush and hated it. I found the bristles a little too stiff and not dense enough to be effective.

even though most of the megs gold accessories are discontinued, they can be found at some online distributors. type in " meguiars versa-angle tire brush " in your google search. this brush has lasted me years and the nice thing is you can take off the handle as well...

That's exactly the problem with the new brushes I bought. Plus the long handle makes it difficult to manage it around the tire. The old brush was perfect! :sadpace:

There's an A&A store close to me but all they had was the same long handle type brushes. I've found a Mr. Clean / Carrand brush that looks similar to the old brush, so I'm going to look for that locally. If not, I might just give that Meguiar's brush a try.

....yeah. I like the look of the bristles on the Meg brush (removable handle is a plus as well).
