I've read a lot of threads about detailing black vehicles...but I need some assistance & guidance using the products I already have (after buying my new truck I'm kinda short on cash).

So, here's what I've got in my arsenol:

- PC 7424

- Full line of Sonus DAS pads (orange, green, blue)

- Sonus MF buffing bonnets

- Concours buffing towels

- Sonus SFX-2

- Klasse AIO

- Klasse SG

- P21S carnauba

- Sonus Acrylic Spritz

So, what's the best way to use these products for swirl removal and cleaning up my new truck?

Thanks guys!!!!!

Use the green pad and your SFX-2..... use some pressure.. figure 8 motion..... go slowly... do about a 3'x3' section at a time.

Use your Klasse..... apply & remove by hand....

Use your wax..... I've been applying & removing by hand... but am waiting for some mf buffing bonnets I ordered last week...... to help with the sweating... :buffing:

Thanks...I appreciate it!!! :2thumbs:

I've been following almost the same procedure on my 06 WRB (World Ralley Blue) WRX.

I was using (in this order):

Green pad / SFX-2

-- remove with MF buffing bonnet

Blue Pad / AIO

-- remove with MF buffing bonnet

Buffing Bonnet / Klasse SG

-- remove with MF buffing bonnet

Hand / P21S

-- remove with concours buffing towel

One quick question though, how much should I work the SFX-2 with the green pad? You said to use pressure, which is fine, but how long do I work it in? Until it hazes, or keep going until dusty? What about machine speed for that? I usually use a 4 on the PC. Also, if I'm working the SFX-2 and it starts to dry up, I'll sprtiz the pad with some Sonus acrylic spritz and keep going.
