Okay previous headlight correction I did last year. Client did not want to pay for a coating so slapped some 845 on them. Well one of them go bird bombed a few weeks ago and owner did not keep up with taking care of them so it is stained/etched milky white color. It baked on the headlights for a few weeks. So need a quick easy solution or are we talking another correction again.
I'm trying to keep the cost low for the client since he is a repeat not big money jobs but a repeat.
I was thinking clay, 1200 then 1500 then try some Adapt on them. I'm not planning on sanding the whole headlight just where the damage is.

Thanks in advance

It shouldn't take much time to knock that out starting with the 1200. I've never had etching problems on headlights but I can't imagine it being much more difficult than taking off a failing clear coat. I'm thinking you might want to step up the sandpaper even finer for finishing unless 1500 is the finest grit you have. I'm not sure Adapt will buff out 1500 scratches without working the plastic for awhile.
