need answer ASAP!!

Ok, I am doing my first autopia detail today, and when I went to check on my ZFX, it has freakin solidified on me!! now, I have no curing agent for my Zaino Z-2, can I just use Z-2?? I guess it is time to use the free sample of tropicare, and continue to use it, so I don't have to buy the polish + curing agent!! HELP!!

Bill I realize your in a jamb but com on relax . Read your product containers and have a beer. I have never used zanio but i know they has this stuff before ZFX znd you just have to wait the cure time..

Yea, before ZFX there was still Z-2. Read the lable. Basically you have to wait till it's completely dry. Could take 10 minutes if you live in Arizona, or 2 hours somewhere up north. Depends... :)

(Texas sun makes for quick cure times :up)

If it's been some time since your last coat of Z, you'll want to use Z1, if available. Call Sal Zaino and explain what happened to the ZFX - he'll likely replace it free of charge.

I mixed my ZFX and Z-2 and Z-5 into 2 small 8oz spray bottles about 8 months ago and they sitll are in good condition. I bought a couple fine misting spray bottles form the beauty supply store and mixed them up.

Ok, well I don't have anything to mix with the Z-2. No Z-1 or ZFX. The back of the bottle says nothing about using either. So, according to the bottle I can use Z-2 by itself?

No pictures of the formula yet, but I am trying to get some.

AutoNova...what you did will not work.

Once ZFX is mixed with Z2 or Z5 a chemical reaction occurs and the polish must be used within a 12 hour period.

If it could be done your way it would be sold pre-mixed to begin with.

Taken from the Zaino website...

"Please note that if this is your first time using the Zaino system, ZFX or minimally Z-1 is mandatory for use with Z-2 PRO, Z-3, or Z-5".

If your existing layer of Z isn't too old, you should'nt have a problem with a new application of (without Z-1/ZFX) Z-2.

I have no clue, I have had it for about 15 months, and it was always stored in a closet. Well, I did the detail, and had to use Liquid Gold Class as my topper :(, but I am going to send Sal Zaino an e-mail describing the situation. I will get some pictures later today. Took me 7 hrs just to do the paint, I didn't have time to polish the rims or do the interior!!!
