I recently detailed my car I will write up a post about that seperatly tomorrow when I have the pictures but something came across my mind as I was doing it. I clayed it and then used 3m SMR with a PC with a white polishing pad. I managed to get out lots of swirls however there were still some water spots and some feint scrathes in the paint. The SMR wasn't hacking it. So my question is would I be better off using Finesse-It II Machine Polish and a white polishing pad. Or do you think the SMR with a yellow pad will be able to knock them out.
