need an experts advice on polishers

ok guys, i have the porter cable 7424 with the white pad and such. however, i need to get some pads and some more polishes. The problem im running into is, is it going to be worth it buying all these pads for the pc, because look what i found in my dads garage.
 
I have a DA PC and a Metabo rotary. They both share the same Megs foams. Just buy a velcro backing plate for that rotary and use the same foams as you do for the DA.
