Hey everyone, I just got my car back from a bodyshop and it seems that when they washed it they left an unbelievable amount of swirls in my jet black paint.

The swirls are very noticeable especially under the sun and lighting.

My paint is about 1 month old and it is a single stage with clear coat.

What products do you recommend or suggest I use and in what order do I use them.

Please explain to me the process as I am pretty new to detailing.

I dont have a PC so I'll most likely be doing it by hand.

Thank you.

You said it, Jet Black. (Fun color) Just for future reference single stage with clear is like saying hot cold water, (two different things).

Start by using carnauba paste wax, do one panel to see what you think.

You can also use an orbital buffer with terry cloth bonnet with Mequiar's #82. (This should take of your concern). But if you don't have an orbital try the canauba first.

Well if it just came back from paint, then you can't really do much for 3 months or so. At least NO WAX. Your polish choices are limited too

Mine just came back from having my door and front bumper repainted. I'm in the same boat as you are. I think they must have used the special sand additive in the wash bucket cause I got tons of swirls now everywhere. I'm just going to try to live with it for 3 months till I can do a full-on detail.
