Is there one post that explains all the manufacturers and types of waxes, cleaners, sealers, protectants that I see people keep referring to as #80, #81, etc. Man, I'm totaly confused with the acronyms and numbers being batted around.

Also, see sig.

Dano's chart was the most helpful to me -- trying to figure out where on the spectrum the different polishes fall.

I've got that page bookmarked.

thanks

Although the secret decoder ring is a great resource there are many days I wish it was a button up on the upper right of the page so I can just click and open it in a new page. (up by "links" and "search") Plus... some of you guys have made up some new acronyms and they have'nt been logged on the decoder page. THere are days I spend hours trying to figure out whats being talked about! :D

Now just remember: AIO makes a good base for SG, and often times some WG. However, be sure to use Z5 or Z1 before Z2. You can also add some ZFX, but you really should use ZPC before Z5 and before Z8. Now OCW makes a nice topper for SSR2.5, but you really should follow that with SS1. I'd slap a coat of PwC or PP and maybe some NB on top for a deep, wet look. Many now like IP followed by FPII topped with FMJ. I'd say get some OP, it works well after OC, then top with OCW. Many cars will have lots of OP, so you may need to wetsand. FX is fantastic, but be sure use DC1 or DC2 b/f it. I prefer NXT over 80, but 83 followed by 80 or 82 works well. If you really need to correct defects, try some 3 or 2 with 5 and maybe 7. Top with GC and you'll be styling. UPP is good over UPC, but don't forget the UPPS. If your car is in really bad shape, you can try FK1's ABC decontamination. :D
