Need a product to clean dirty exhaust tips!

I need a product which can get the soot off the tips of my pipes. I have a turbo car so the soot tends to build up faster, and is also harder to remove. I don't want to polish the pipes to a chrome finish, because they have a flat aluminum look. I just want to remove the gunk...any ideas?



I tried ONR with an MF...doesn't seem to fit the bill. Need something stronger.



I saw Mothers Aluminum polish at Wal-Mart the other day. Was curious if this would be good for the job.

Have you tried just washing with regular car wash solution; and really scrub them down with a brush of some sort. If so I think I would try a simple green/water mixture to see what happens. I have the same thing happen to me on my LSX.

Or try a real fine steel wool dipped in soapy water, and then polish after

I used the Eagle One never dull then followed it with nxt all metal.

Try gently using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, or as previously mentioned, some 0000 steel wool. Use either one with your ONR or wash solution.
