Kartcher has a whole line of PW in that price range...two hundred clams will buy you a pretty nice unit...The question will really boil down to do you want gas or electric...pro's and con's on both of those....are you just going to be using this for your cars and around the house stuff?

Backing up Beemerboy: The german Kärcher (or Karcher here in the US) is a quality product. Remanufactured units start at 99.- 200 will get you a new one. At the paramedics in Austria we have used a Kärcher for a decade - hardly any repairs and very good output. Our station commander swore by it, although he was not the one using it - WE had to clean the cars. Nevertheless he was right.

I have had a" Simonize" pressure washer for 6-8 years ,and even though its a cheap and nasty product,I don't know how I would have done without it.
My suggestion to whoever is considering to buy one is to get the best quality there is ,with a well made gun/nuzzle because these machines last a long long time,so you might as well spend the money now and have 10 plus years of use out of it.
BTW Karcher is (as mentioned before) one of the best.

You bet you can. I picked up a new 1900 PSI Briggs & Straton powered unit for $169 at Pep Boys a while back.
