Natural Look versus Trim Restore

I've been using Trim Restore on the exterior black trim, tires and seals for about a month.
Today I worked on the interior for the first time and used Natural Look.

The label on Natural Look talks about UV protection, TR doesn't say anything about it.
Can NL be used on the exterior, since it has the protection stuff?

Also, TR is petroleum base while NL is water base.
Didn't I read somewhere that petroleum base products cause damage?

When will I know it all?!?

Yes NL can be used on the outside. It just won't last as long as the TR.

Petroleum based products last longer then water based. Water based products can normally be diluted with water, petroleum based can't. petroleum based dressings cost more then your water based.

I don't think your gonna cause much damage by using a petroleum based dressing. Alot of people talk about tires getting damaged. Its true to an extent but you'll either replace the tires or sell the car before it happens.

Not so much the tires, what about the black trim - will that be damaged with the petroleum based product?
