WALLY,
You can do 2 coats the first day to make sure the car is 100% covered. Then knock yourself out do what ya want after. I like to wait a day or so after I coat with the wax and then add more. Remember, you are applying and then taking product off. How much comes off is any one's bet at that point. I just think letting things harden up makes better sense. A cold water rinse is what some old timers did to make sure things bonded.:inspector: :howdy
Also in hot climates in the south the wax never get much harder than a skim of oily wax. This is why a sealer is used in most warmer and humid places. The oil in the wax is of no consequence, the sealer dries and make a great shinny barrier of protection. And yes can be topped with a wax after a 12-24 hr cure time for extra pop.
