does natty's have to be spit shined or can you simply apply a 2nd coat over the first? thanks in advance.

If you do it one after another you'll ensure protection throughout the whole vehilce but you may not get two layers atop each other. Either way would work. If you have some Optimum Car Wax, spary a very light mist of that and then run the Natty's in for a great look. If not, you can go ahead and do a 2nd layer - I'd wait to do any more for a day or two.
