Natty's ... difficult?

Anyone find Natty's wax to be difficult to work with? I topped PwC and EX-P with Natty's and found it considerably harder to buff off than any other PB product I've used.



Also didn't find Natty's added much.
 
I've used Natty's twice....once on top of Meg's #80 and once on top of NXT. I didn't have problems buffing it off...and I even appiled it in direct sunlight when using with the #80. Perhaps you applied it too thick?



I will agree with you that it is very "sterile" for a carnuba. It without question adds a very wet look but lacks the kind of depth I would expect from a canuba.

I've only used Natty's once, so I don't have a fixed opinion yet, but my initial observation was that it didn't buff off "clean". There was residue that I had to QD to get off. Perhaps the humidity had something to do with it as humidity effects many products:nixweiss
 
Maybe some people who have used it should tell NHBFAN their process. Is he using too much, too little, work small section, whole car, apply with wet or dry applicator?
 
I use thin coats, apply to a couple of sections at a time, then go back and remove. Seems to come off pretty easily.



Very wet look but like others said, isn't super deep. Incredible on light colors, decent on dark.
 
Natty's should be pretty easy to use. Apply with a damp app and do a panel or two. It should look invisible, like all waxes oddly. I think Natty's is more of a booster, as it is clear and adds to the overall look of the wax. Not your deep carnauba look, but then you can always layer :D

I found Natty's a piece of cake to work with. I topped it over EX. I found it added reflectivity and wetness. I like it a lot and have gotten countless compliments on how incredibly wet my car looks :)
 
In another thread I was reading some Natty's users commented that it had the same look as Souveran. It was being touted as a less expensive alternative.



Can I get some follow-up comments on this?

I've used both (albeit in a very limited manner) and the look isn't even remotely comparable IMHO.



Souveran = DEEP DEEP DEEP with a super gloss/wet look



Natty's = Very wet but limited in its ability to bring out depth (and both times I used it the paint had been prepped).



The plus with Natty's (to me anyway) is that it is a sun friendly product...always a godsend when your mobile.

Pretty much what Mike said. Very wet but less depth than Souveran. However, that makes Natty's an outstanding choice on light colors, as you can see with this Studebaker street rod (PwC and Natty's):
