Which is a funny statement because a lot of folks run around here saying that Natty's is a bargain and looks so much like Souveran. :rofl To me; they don't...but to a lot...they are similar.



Souveran (or Sig.) has relatively poor durability. They both look great on darks; Sig really looks nice on metallics.



Souveran/Sig. are darker/warmer/deeper than Natty's or 26. Neither has the "bright-wet" look of Natty's blue; but have more of a "shimmering pool" look compared to 26.

Argh, I guess no new LSP wax for me. How about finishing sprays? Heard good things about Z8, but it doesn't bond too well with carnubas.

No cleaners but the solvents it contains would remove or at the very least re-liquify the #16 as you apply the #26, IMO.

It does not last more than one week. I have used nearly half of my 8oz jar (thats a lot of cars with how thin I put it on) and have never gotten more than a week or so of durability, rain just washes it right off.





Go with #26 instead. Or, my personal favorite, collinite.

Wow, only 1 week? Must be loaded with oils I reckon.
 
#26 over 2 coats of #21 works great. My truck was sheeting water away like crazy 3 months later in the florida sun.
 
I like #26 so much, I bought a gallon I'm always pleased with the results. I think we have a tendency to dismiss lines such as Meguiar's because they sell OTC. I'm guilty of this as well



It's reasonably priced, easy to find, looks great, and has ok durability especially for a 'beauty' wax
 
good to know, just picked up some 26 from Kragen (of all places) and i was wondering if it had any cleaning properties like nxt 2.0



i plan to go either KAIO + 26 or KAIO + KSG + 26

Addicted to #26. Seriously, use too much because I love the feel of the stuff, plus the smell. Have both paste and liquid, but the liquid is spread very easy. Once dried, it comes off clean. Looks great on black cars.



IMO if you prep right (good clay and polish) most semi-upper end waxes and sealants are going to give you the look you want. Honestly, only a trained, experienced detailer is going to be able to give a description of the different waxes. ie, depth, gloss, color extraction. It is kind of like wine. If it is a decent bottle, it is going to be hard to tell the difference between wines to laymen. But a wine expert (experienced detailer) will be able to tell you think like (smoothness, oak, fruits, dry, tannens).



My point is that if you prep your car right, most hobbiest won't be able to see the distinct differences between the upper-end waxes. This is why some hobbiest get disapoiinted when they shell out $60 for a boutique wax and can't see any difference. But if you do 20 cars with one wax and then 20 cars with another, you begin to see the distinct difference. Then it all comes down to your preference (reflection, depth, color, etc.)
