Natty's blue Vs DP MaxWax

Tried a couple of panels today, the front wings, did one wing with WG sealant then DP MaxWax and the other with WGS and Poorboy's Natty's blue - the entire car had been previously done with RMG/UPP/WG etc. so had a good base.

Although both very nice, the win has to go to Natty's blue, the colour appeared deeper, wetter and the metallic flakes stood out better. Both carnaubas took some of the slickness away from the WG sealant, so I might just layer the sealant as I liked the look better before I applied the wax!

Although it seems to be a good comparison, it's hard to compare two products unless they're on the exact same panel with the same objects reflected through it. They both look very nice though! :xyxthumbs

I've heard rumors of Paste Glaz and MaxWax being awfully similar, but if MW took away some of the slickness, then it must not be the same. Paste Glaz has retained the slickness of every sealant from my experience.

Very true. DP MaxWax is very nice and will look good on many colours, but for me and my metallic blue the Natty's blue had a definate edge.

If you like a carnuba LSP, you can't beat Natty's Blue on blue and other medium to dark metallic colours. :2thumbs:

Have to admit my favourite LSP is Optimum Spray Wax, must try it on top of WG sealant to see how it looks and if it retains the slickness.

Mine too, mainly 'cos of the results it gives on silver. I can verify its super slick over AIO, so should be the same over WG. Such a great quick detailer for special occasions too!
