Natty's Blue or Red?

I love blue, and have a tub of red sitting in the supply bin unopened.

here is blue on black

Dark Red I still say blue.........Not that red is bad its just that on darker colors I like blue. Not to mention blue is easier to work with when removing

I'll preface this by saying that I haven't even dipped into my original Natty's (which I won) but I would venture that all 3 colors are more alike than different...and I'd go with whatever one you get the best deal on.

Maybe you should reserve your comments until you've used all three... I have and used all three and they are all very different. Natty's white is very reflective and 'glows', blue looks great on dark colors, but a little harder to use (when applied thick) and red is just great, easier to work with and a little slicker.

I'm really not sure what ya'll are hashing Natty's so hard for.

NB easily lasts three weeks for me with once a week washings on a truck that sits outside. I'm pretty hard on wax evaluations and to me #26 and NB are NOT on the same level. 26 may *slightly* edge out on durability; but it lacks in looks.

Crystal Mist can't really compare with any paste wax; its basically a booster/qd. It does work well at extending the life of your bas 'nuba though.

As for the poor durability claims, it's not like the wax disappears in 2-3 weeks. Slickness may dissipate but the wax is still protecting from the elements. Actually I haven't had much luck with any product keeping its slickness (even Zaino) for more than a few weeks tops...

Hello,

OK! As far as i know Orig and Blue were of similar formulation, Red isnt its a new wax which is suppose to have more upmarket assets. I have Red and Orig and on lights and darks its deeper and wetter looking, but less glossy. Durability is decent beading until about 6 weeks for me here in the UK.

For $20 you can also get DP Max Wax, which looks great and is good buy, better then RED i would say.

Worth looking at Vic Wax if you want a good looker, i have Concours, its also Red and looks great!

I love Nattys. I really find it amazing all the negative comments. I have used it on non garaged daily drivers and been happy and have been extremely pleased with it on a garaged unit. With the way I wash my cars I don't have problems with durability.

I don't expect collinite durability though. Not what I was looking for.

Yeh kinda suprised at the comments as well, Natty's Blue beads very nicely for at least 2 months for me, and my cars sit outside 24/7 in South FL weather since I have too much stuff in the garage. Though I find myself using AW more then anything right now for quick ease of use and great looks as I don't have much time.

For $25 you can keep your Nuba looks and seal it in with Optimum Opti seal.

It gives about 3 months of protection from one coat, yes you can use it over nuba.

:2thumbs:

I love CG5050 wax. I have used Nattys and gave it away. Longevity is poor compared to CG. Nattys is a good wax but for me, I do not like waxing every few month.

The only wax that is worse is CG butter wet wax.

Wow, this thread came back from the dead.

FYI - I ended up buying Natty's Red for a very nice price and I have to say I love it so far. Can't speak to durability though since I haven't had it on the truck long enough but it looks amazing.
