Name that product from the 90's

I got a bottle of that when I ordered the Duralube engine treatment about 12 years ago (the big demo was running an engine w/o oil while being flushed by a fire hose or some such).



I finally tossed it out (unopend) when we moved in 2001.



I think my favorite infomericals were the "Amazing Discoveries." The ones with Mike Levey (the guy in the sweater) with the british guy, Ian, selling Auri car polish.
 
Wait a minnit....was Durashine sold by infomercial? Because the stuff that I was thinking of wasn't (I don't think), I think I saw it in Popular Mechanic/Science...or maybe even a car mag.

They sold it both by infomercial and in the mags.
 
When I said I thought I saw it in a mag...I meant editorially (an article) rather than an ad...for whatever that's worth. I really have no recollection of the name of the product I remember, so I guess it was Durashine. <shrug>
