Mytee Lite II & VX5000 Steamer...Other recommendations?

I'm thinking of purchasing these two products. I wanted to get away with just using the vx5000 but from the numerous threads and searches I've done I've come to realize theres really a need for both at one point or another. I currently am running a mobile setup with a lowprofile skid setup. So space is a concern for me. Can anybody recommend any other options that I should be looking at around the same price points of these Units? Mytee 675$ Shipped and VX5000 695$ Shipped. TIA!

I have the Mytee HP60 and love it. You will need the upholstery tool, and crevice tool, too. I also got the floor wand for cleaning my household carpets. Another thing that I invested in is the attachable vacuum, which is perfect, too. I have absolutely no complaints about it. I have also been looking into getting the VX5000, but have not yet pulled the trigger due to price.

Every post I've read recommends the HP60 over the Lyte II...Its just hard for me to fork over the extra cash I could use for the steamer. Makes me wish I didnt blow so much money on a vehicle wrap lol

You deffinetly need both. I have a VX5000 and it is good although I don't use it as much as I thought I would. People say it works for cleaning wheels and engine bays, and it does, but it is not an effecient use of time.

For cleaning interiors you can sometimes get away with just steam, but on moderatley soiled interiors you will need the extractor.

I own the mytee lite 2 and the vx5000, now I don't do more than 2 interiors a day, and less than 15 in a month. The only reason I would want a better machine than the ML2 is for the inches of lift and tip temp. The steamer is HUGE in cleaning, my carpets are much cleaner if I steam them after I pre treat then extract after that......Heat is a friend!

Cheers,

GREG

I was going to use that same method of pre treating then steaming and then coming in w/ the extractor. What defoamer do you use in your ML2? I wanted to step up to the hp60 but couldnt justify double the price at this point. My ML2 I ordered yesterday so it should be here in a few days.

I've used the vx5000 a few times now, does anybody have any tips on using it to its full potential? I guess also knowing the limits of the machine would help to.

Thanks!
