My wifes ride needs some new tires

Well I attempted to get my oil change today, but of course it wsa going to be to long of a wait. So While I was there I checked out the tire. The Gentleman quoted me $437.26 for the Cobra GT's. And the size is P225/70R15. Any thoughts on this price?

If that is mounted and balanced it's a fair price.I still don't understand why you want to put the Cobras on a samll SUV.Cobras are better suited for mustangs, camaros and similar cars.
Don't get me wrong I ran a set of cobras on a full sized chevy truck in the past. They hook up great but they aren't a high mileage tire.At the time I didn't care I was getting them on my employee discount but only got about 17,000 miles out of them.

Well I'm leaning away from the cobra's which by the way I didn't pick the tire center suggested them. Looking at Cooper's website I find other tires that might be better suited for what I'm looking for. I made this thread looking for opinions on Cooper tires. I'm not to familiar with tires.

Sounds like Place for UNIROYAL LIBERATOS FROM WALMART! Check WALMART.COM FOR TIRES IN THE CORRECT SIZE. Use the $9.76 nation wide tire protection plan as that incldes mounting, lifetim e balancing, lifetime tire rotation, valve stem, and road hazzard. Im not sure if the liberators are on the site, otherwise stop at the local supercenter and take a look. Shouldnt be over $280 for 4 before taxes. Post and Ill try to get back to you on the Walmart tires. Got to be there in 1 hour anyway. RANDAL store 3394 Atlantic, Iowa....

As a former employee of Cooper I will say they make an outstanding tire and their customer service is second to none.I left them to start my own business about 3 yrs ago and still buy their tires. If I didn't believe in the product I wouldn't recommend it.
They are also 1 of only 2 american owned major tire manufacturing companies left in the world.Cooper also owns and makes Mickey Thompson tires and is a shareholder in Pirelli Tires.
