My White Cobra *PICS*

I figured I would take the Cobra for a small Photoshoot before she goes to sleep for a bit then gets taken apart ;)



At the moment it is wearing 9 month old Klasse and it still beads! (1xAIO, 2xSG), Poorboys Bold-N-Bright on tires. I just use Poorboys Spray and wipe on it every time I take it out!

Its a 96. The white wheels were a fashion risk but I am soo happy I went with them. Its hard to tell from the pics but the rears are 12" wide! Its wearing 315/35/R17 Drag Radials. Its not all show ;)
 
It looks great, and I love the wheels. My brother and I are flying up to Ohio this Friday to buy a 98 just like yours and all I can say is that I hope it is as clean as yours is! What are you planning on doing to it? Modwise.

Lets put it this way. My car is whiter than Michael Jackson and I am real picky about what goes on my tires! I have tried many and they all spot or sling. Many would not if I let it sit for about 1/2 hour but the B-N-B is the only one that I apply and drive away as soon as Im done. The shine is perfet, its not too fake and holds up well.
 
I currently use Z16 and am happy with the performance. It doesn't sling at all. But I would like something a bit more glossy. Is bold & bright glossier?
 
I haven't used Z16 but look at the following pic. This is a real thin application. If applied thicker it gets real shiny!,

intercooled, you should try meguiars hot tire shine. Its a bit glossier than z16. You do have to lightly buff it though so it won't sling.

Nice ride, love the color.



I just sold my '96 - loved it but had issues with the tranny, mainly a nasty grind from 1st to 2nd @ high RPM shifts...have you noticed this?

That would *most likely* be a bent fork inside the tranny thus not allowing the gears to mesh correctly when trying to shift. Since shifting from 1st to 2nd is so easy, most people *overthrow* the gear by pulling excessively on the shifter after already being in gear and this bends the alignment fork. An aftermarket shifter usually prevents this because they come with stops that keep you from ever overthrowing the gear, but once the damage is done, it's done. My buddy recently bought an 03' GT with 1,000 miles on it from the dealer and the forks were already bent from someone ragging it on test drives and they put a brand new transmission it for him and never had a problem since, but then again he immediately installed an aftermarket shifter so he never had to worry about that again.
